The Flybridge Life

Open Air Above.
The Loop Ahead.

The retractable bimini is central to your Great Loop configuration: shade for a long afternoon at the helm, with the canopy lowered for bridge passages.

Enjoy the view from the upper helm, gather around the flybridge table, and come inside when the day calls for shelter. The X53 gives you both ways to travel.

Made for Your Days Aboard

Galley Aft. Or Galley Down.

On a journey measured in months, the way your boat lives matters. Start with the arrangement that suits your daily rhythm.

01

Galley Aft

Keep cooking close to the cockpit. Pass lunch straight outside, stay part of the conversation, and make the main deck the center of the day.

02

Galley Down

Give the main saloon more space for living and dining, with the galley on the lower deck. A different balance for owners who like a separate place to prepare a meal.

A Boat for the Journey

Small Draft.
Big Plans.

The X53’s published 0.90 m draft is a strong starting point for inland cruising. Its 53-foot length makes room for extended stays, visiting friends and the everyday comforts that turn a boat into home.

Twin Volvo Penta D6-440 shaft drives, a bow thruster and inside and flybridge helms form the OnPoint specification. Explore the equipment, choose your layout, and build a brief around the way you want to cruise.

Your Questions

The X53 & the Great Loop

Is the X53 Great Loop capable?

Yes. The X53 is Great Loop capable with its retractable-bimini configuration. At 53 ft 4 in long and 15 ft 5 in wide, with a published 2 ft 11 in draft, it combines the proportions for inland cruising with a flybridge and comfortable living space. Choose a galley-aft or galley-down arrangement to suit your life aboard.

Why does a retractable bimini matter for Great Loop cruising?

It lets you lower the flybridge canopy for bridge passages and raise it again for shade at the upper helm. That flexibility brings open-air cruising and practical passage planning together.

Which X53 galley layout should I choose?

Galley aft keeps cooking close to the cockpit and main-deck gathering spaces. Galley down gives the saloon more room for relaxing and dining. Talk through how you cook, entertain and spend longer periods aboard, then agree the complete cabin and galley arrangement for your build.

How much water does the X53 draw?

The published OnPoint specification is 0.90 m, approximately 2 ft 11 in. That makes shallow-draft cruising an important part of the X53 conversation. Actual draft depends on the finished yacht and loading, and your passage plan must use current charted depths and water levels.
